Renamed!

The capital of Karnataka is going to be renamed 'Bengalooru' or 'Bengaluru' (the spelling is yet to be decided) from its Anglisized version Bangalore on the day of the culmination of 50 years of statehood. If you ask me, it is just political rhetoric. When we talk in Kannada, we have always called it Bengalooru, it is also written so. The point here? I am glad it is formal though.
